How does the Shell discount work?
When your subscription is confirmed, you’ll receive an email from us with your voucher code.
Just download the Shell Fleet app via the link in the email, enter the voucher code and complete your registration. You’ll then be sent a fuel card with a monthly credit limit of £200 which you can use at any Shell station to fill up. Your 5p per litre discount will be applied automatically on standard diesel and unleaded fuels so you can start saving straight away.
There’s no need to log in and arrange payment, just enter your preferred credit or debit card information and the rest takes care of itself. Whatever you’ve spent that month is taken from the payment card on your account.
How do I redeem my unique voucher code?
To begin your registration on the Shell app, all you have to do is:
- Click the download link in your email.
- Enter your unique voucher code on the first screen in the app.
The unique code can only be used once and is non-transferable. You’ll need to make sure to copy the code exactly as it appears in the email.
I haven’t received my voucher code. What should I do?
Just give us a call on 020 3901 3488 with your booking details ready and we’ll resend the code to you. Make sure to check your spam folder too.
My unique voucher code isn’t working. Can I have another one?
If the voucher code we’ve given you isn’t working, please give us a call on 020 3901 3488 and we’ll send you a new one.
How do I create an account in the Shell app?
Once you’ve downloaded the Shell app, you can create your account in just six steps.
- Enter the unique voucher code from your email into the app.
- Register with your preferred email address and create a password.
- Sign up to your fuel card special offer.
- Enter your preferred delivery address (this is where your fuel card will be sent to).
- Upload a picture of your driving licence or passport and enter your personal details.
- Enter your payment details and order your fuel card.
Your fuel card will arrive in the post along with your PIN.
What documentation do I need to create an account on the Shell app?
To create an account on the Shell app, you’ll need to take a photo of your personal ID (passport or driving licence) and attach it during registration. You’ll also need your banking details. Please make sure you have all these documents to hand before you register for an account.
When taking a photo of your ID in the app, make sure that:
- All text is visible,
- No areas of the ID/face are cropped
- The lighting is good
- The photo is sharp and in focus
Can I use my paper driving license as a form of ID?
The Shell app isn’t able to support any ID without a photo. If you only have access to a paper driving license, please use a valid passport in the ID check.
How can I see a breakdown of all my fuel payments?
In the app, you’ll be able to track your spending and see the savings you’ve made on a digital invoice.
When is payment for fuel taken each month?
Payment will automatically be taken on the last day of each month from your preferred payment card on your account.
Can I change when my fuel payment is taken?
When you register on the app, the date is set by Shell automatically and is unable to be changed.
Is there a minimum monthly spend?
You can spend as much or as little as you like up to £200 per month.
Can I spend more than £200 a month?
This won’t happen as the fuel card has a limit of £200.
My fuel card has been lost/stolen. What should I do?
You can freeze it in the Shell app if this happens. You can also request PIN reminders and order a replacement fuel card.
