Has my car been serviced?
We service every petrol, diesel and hybrid car if it’s due a service within the next three months. If required, this includes replacing the oil and oil filter inline with your car's service requirements. If your car is also more than one year old, we’ll have changed the air filter and pollen filter too. We don’t service electric cars.
How will I know if my car's been serviced?
Your car’s service indicator, if it has one, will have been reset. We also stamp the service book or update the service record on the onboard computer. You’ll find a copy of the service sheet in your welcome pack.
Where is my car’s service book?
You’ll find your car’s service book in the glove compartment.
What do I do if my car’s service indicator comes on?
If your car’s service indicator comes on during the first three months, please call us on 020 3901 3488 and we’ll reset it.
How will I know when to service my car?
You can check your car’s handbook for the manufacturer’s recommendations on how and when to service your car.
Where can I find my car’s handbook?
Certain cars have digital handbooks which you can download and access through the display screen. If your car came with a physical handbook, you’ll find it in the glove compartment.
How do I get the DAB radio to work?
Your DAB radio will work within range of a DAB signal for a particular radio station and location. We suggest trying alternative stations if your radio isn’t connecting right away.
Can my car’s stop/start function stop working?
If your car has a stop/start function, there may be certain situations where it won’t activate. This is normal and is often because the car's on-board computer keeps the engine running for better efficiency.
Situations where stop/start may not activate are:
If your car hasn’t been driven regularly and has low battery charge. A drive of at least half an hour should boost your car’s battery.
When the engine becomes cold.
When the battery is under heavy load, especially in winter.

What does the light on my car’s tyre pressure monitoring system mean?
Sometimes a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light can come on shortly after you receive your car. Some cars may need to be driven several times for the system to automatically switch off the warning light. It’s a good idea to check the pressure in your car’s tyres before driving.
What is the towing capacity of my car?
You can check your car’s towing capacity in the vehicle handbook or on the manufacturer’s website. If your car has a digital handbook, you can find out information through the display screen.
Is my car’s battery fully charged?
Yes, your car will be fully charged when you receive it. We carry out a full battery health check on every Cazoo car just before delivery or collection. If a car needs a new battery, we’ll fit one.
Can I buy a charger for my electric car?
You can buy an at-home charging point from a wide variety of suppliers. All electric Cazoo cars also come with at least two charging cables.
Do you check my car’s brakes?
Yes, we check every car’s braking system and our technicians take each car for a full road test. If your car’s brakes make a noise when driving, your car may have some surface rust visible on the brake discs. This is nothing to worry about, as light rust can form within hours if a car isn't driven. Rust will disappear once you drive the car for a few miles.
Does my car come with a spare tyre?
If your car had a spare tyre when it was new, we’ll include one. Otherwise, it will have run-on flat tyres or a puncture repair kit and compressor.
The repair kit and compressor will allow you to seal the puncture and inflate the tyre, so you can drive to your nearest tyre repair centre.
Where can I find my car’s locking wheel nuts?
You can find your car's locking wheel nuts in the boot or glove compartment.
Does my car’s sat nav include an SD memory card?
If your car’s sat nav includes an SD memory card, it will have been installed before delivery or collection.
