Once you’ve returned your subscription car, we’ll thoroughly inspect it and compare it to the BVRLA’s Fair Wear and Tear Standards. You may be charged for any repair or refurbishment that’s needed outside of fair wear and tear.

The car needs to be returned with at least 15 litres of fuel or a 75% charge for electric cars.
Please clean the car inside and out and make sure you return all headrests, mats and anything else that came with your car when you received it.
If the tank is almost empty, the car is dirty, damaged beyond fair wear and tear or anything is missing, there may be a fee. You can find out more in the BVRLA’s Fair Wear and Tear Standards.
If you’ve ended or cancelled your subscription, we’ll provide a full refund of your deposit if there are no outstanding payments, charges or penalty notices and if there’s no damage to the car beyond fair wear and tear, as defined by the BVRLA’s Fair Wear and Tear Standards. It will take up to 4 weeks from when your car was collected for your refund to be processed. Your deposit will be back on your card within 7-10 days.
If you do go over your allowance we charge excess mileage at £0.40 for each additional mile which will be taken from your deposit.
If you’ve changed your subscription car for another one, your deposit will be transferred to your new subscription. Any cost of repair on your original subscription car will be charged to your preferred payment card on your account.
